Denim Mix Terry Pullover Hoodie

"Sustainable" is a new initiative that aims to turn Graphpaper's ideas on sustainability into products.

This is a new hoodie produced as the first part of the project.

In order to reuse denim scraps and used denim fabric collected from a sewing factory in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, they are crushed and blended with American cotton raw cotton. After that, the indigo and white of the denim and the ecru raw cotton are mixed together to give the cotton a slight blue hue, and then spun to allow the yarn to contain the right amount of air. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, the yarn itself has a random look, so each piece has a different look, and no two products are the same, which is one of the characteristics and charms of this material. While using this fluffy yarn, we took a paradoxical approach and put it on a high-gauge knitting machine to create a fabric with a clear feel against the skin and a flat, modern look. The minimalist texture without any pilling highlights the delicate color, which can be described as either blue or green. In addition to the beauty of the material, by expressing it in a big silhouette that reflects Graphpaper's philosophy, we added a modern interpretation that gives a sense of space in the width and arms.

Before being sustainable, Graphpaper's proposed clothing is created with the premise that it should be a beautiful product.
